About

My Mission

Therapy isn’t just about coping. It’s about getting honest with what you have buried.

In this space, we slow things down and listen closely to the parts of you that don’t usually get heard, the intrusive thoughts, the shame, the patterns you can’t explain.

My approach is collaborative and grounded. I don’t assume or judge. Together, we explore what is beneath the surface so you can better understand yourself, interrupt unhelpful cycles, and create meaningful change.

This work is sometimes uncomfortable, but it’s always held in care and confidentiality.

Method

My approach is rooted in deep listening and honest reflection. I don’t rush to label or fix, we take time to understand what is underneath the surface.

I work integratively, drawing on psychodynamic and relational approaches while remaining flexible to what you need in the room.

Whether it’s exploring early relationships, intrusive thoughts, or the quiet discomfort you can't quite name, we make space for it.

This is collaborative work. It isn’t always neat or comfortable, but it is real. And through that realness, we begin to loosen the grip of the things that feel stuck.

Credentials

Certifications

Psychotherapy

With a background in psychotherapy and over four decades of experience as the Principal of one of Ireland’s leading beauty colleges, I bring a unique understanding of people and their inner lives.

My formal training in psychotherapy (BA Hons in Psychotherapy & Counselling) has equipped me with the tools to support individuals navigating emotional distress, identity challenges, and internalised patterns that no longer serve them.

Therapy

I offer a grounded, confidential space for clients to speak the thoughts they often don’t share with anyone else. My approach is practical, warm, and informed by real-life experience, not just theory.

We work together to understand what’s underneath the surface and begin to shift long-held internal narratives.

Expertise

My work blends evidence-based therapeutic practices with the intuitive insight built over a lifetime of supporting people. Areas of focus include self-worth, anxiety, internalised shame, and the emotional residue of life transitions.

I draw from trauma-informed, person-centred, and psychodynamic approaches.

Affiliations

I am an active member of relevant professional psychotherapy bodies and stay engaged with ongoing supervision and continuous professional development to ensure ethical and effective practice.

Approach

My approach is relational and honest. I listen for what’s not being said as much as what is.

Therapy with me is not about fixing, it’s about understanding, healing, and giving voice to the parts of yourself you have kept hidden.

Achievements

Leading one of Ireland’s top beauty colleges gave me decades of experience in mentoring and developing individuals, both professionally and personally.

That deep people-work now continues through my therapy practice.

A little about me outside the walls of the office...

When I’m not in session, you will most likely find me on a tennis court, I’m an avid player and fan, and I love the rhythm, focus, and challenge of the game. I also enjoy walks, catching a good film, and spending time with friends over good conversation and food.

Social connection, movement, and reflection are important to me, not just as a therapist, but as a person. They keep me grounded, curious, and energised for the work I do.
